“MY WEEKEND BIRTHDAY”
I arrived back in Mauritius on September 22, to be with my hubby-dude again, (he’s still finishing some projects there at that time). My Birthday is 26th of September and we checked in a day earlier at the Hotel Sofitel L’Imperial at Flic&Flac for an overnight stay. The Resort was beautiful! Its perfect for a weekend getaway and not to mention it’s my special day… “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, to me!”

WELCOME BACK ME!
Wow! It’s been ages since the last time i’ve updated my tumblr!!! But, it’s always said, “better late than never” and i should’nt forget my password next time…
Ok, it looks like i’m starting all over again, and these are obviously super, duper late posts, hahaha!

While i was waiting for a bus ride yesterday, I saw this beautiful rainbow. It looks so nice that it arched those units where we are staying in Moka, Mauritius… its my favorite photo!
I used to watched the cartoons “RAINBOW BRITE” when i was kid and until then, whenever i saw a RAINBOW: it gives me JOY, purely because i just love its COLORS ~ its very passionate … it gives me HOPE ~ because there’s a saying that, “THERE’S A RAINBOW ALWAYS AFTER THE RAIN” and it always makes me WONDER what’s at the end of it… ~ in LIFE, we never know what lies ahead, its always a CHALLENGE.

On the 3rd weekend of June, we stayed at the “The Grand Mauritian, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa.” It is located at Turtle Bay, Balaclava, Mauritius. The resort have a very nice villa style accommodation, 15 exquisite villas spread along the spectacular beach. It is an ultimate island experience for us since our accommodation package includes free ride on their glass bottom boat to have a view of the corals and fishes plus snorkeling. There are also other water activities, like kayaking, pedalo (biking in the water), parasailing, water ski and the bumpy tube ride being pulled by a speed boat. The resort also have two stunning swimming pools, one is an infinity pool which is the perfect view from the terrace of our room… (it’s a wonderful and amazing feeling waking up with the fantastic view of the infinity pool and the beach.. it so refreshing and relaxing!). Me and my hubby had a great experience and its very memorable for us since it’s also our 7th year Wedding Anniversary on the 18th of June. We love the place, our room, food, the people, the view, the sunset… everything… truly romantic as well. We ended our stay with a spa at their luxurious Mandara Spa. (The Mandara Spa is an exquisite Balinese concept space filled with the exotic aromas of local spices and pure essential oils, accompanied by the gentle sound of soothing music that will bathe your senses and lull you into a deep state of relaxation). The Balinese massage was a pure bliss! Life is good and i am thankful for the experience. God is Good :)
